The Yezidis are one of the most fascinating cultural and religious entities in the world. Their beliefs are shrouded in mystery and most often misunderstood by outsiders. Lalish is the center of their faith to which the faithful pilgrimage at least once in their lives if possible. Guests will witness the rituals and understand this ancient sect in a way impossible to those who have not visited. Lalish is a sacred microcosm of the world, as it were, containing not only many shrines dedicated to Yezidis, but a number of other landmarks corresponding to other symbols of significance in other faiths.
